The Elysian

Downtown East, located just east of I-110 and adjacent to Historic Beauregard Town and Historic Spanish Town, is currently experiencing a transformation. Residential, religious, and small warehouse structures, as well as the recreational opportunities within the neighborhood, contribute to the overall character. Spanish Town Park, located in the northern section of the neighborhood, was recently upgraded shortly following the opening of The Elysian, a 100 unit residential development.

Several private residential and commercial developments are currently underway in Downtown East. The Deville Apartments, located in the northern portion of the district, will bring an additional 44 residential units to the neighborhood and The Elysian II, also located in the northern portion and adjacent to Elysian I, will bring an additional 100. Forte and Tablada, Arkel Development, DNA Workshop, and many other business have redeveloped and located in the area, taking advantage of its strategic location and historic building stock.
